If you opt for a superficial chemical peel, you will likely begin to notice the results within approximately one to two weeks as it will take a few days to a week for the skin to heal. With medium to deep peels, it can take several weeks to months before the skin completely heals and full results are seen. 

Although you will notice a superficial peel’s results sooner than a deep chemical peel, the results from a medium or deep chemical peel will last longer than the results from a superficial chemical peel will. The results from a superficial chemical peel should last between one and two months, while those from a deep peel can last for years. If you opt for a medium chemical peel, results can last anywhere from two to six months.

We recommend that you please discontinue retinoic acid products and glycolic acid products for 3-4 days before your treatment.

Post-care:

There can be some minor redness and peeling of the skin. This should improve within a few days. We recommend EMU oil and sunscreen after treatment. We also recommend you stay out of the sun for at least 1-2 weeks after treatment.
